HONORING LORETTA MODELEVSKY,
CO-FOUNDER
For Loretta Modelevsky, the fruition of her dream of a Jewish Home for the Aging in Orange County has been a 37-year labor of love.
As VP of Development on Heritage Pointe’s first Board of Directors led by Founding President Meryl Schrimmer, Loretta was key to creating seven Heritage Pointe community support chapters whose 1,000+ members raised the awareness and the seed money needed to establish the home.
Loretta and her husband, Herb, donated the first Torah, its mantle and the Aron HaKodesh (Holy Ark) acknowledging Heritage Pointe’s Jewish identity.
As Heritage Pointe’s Volunteer Coordinator for the past 32 years, Loretta brought incredible meaning, joy and connection to countless Residents and volunteers.
And because Loretta and Herb wanted exciting opportunities for lifelong learning to continue at Heritage Pointe, they established the Dr. Herb and Loretta Modelevsky ZEST for Learning Endowment Fund in 2018.
Loretta Modelevsky is a true blessing to Heritage Pointe, a woman of valor for future generations to follow.
Please join us in honoring Loretta by placing a tribute message in our program ad journal. Please email ad text, logo and/or photo to bslavin@heritagepointe.org. You may also print or type your ad copy as you would like on a separate sheet. Please note the ad page size is on the Patron & Admission Opportunities card. Ad deadline is Friday, April 1.
