Director of Assisted Living/Healthcare

As the Director of Assisted Living you would at Heritage Pointe, you will manage and direct HealthCare Services for our Assisted Living , Memory Care, and Sage Living (AL all inclusive care) in accordance with California RCFE procedures, Title 22 regulations, and Heritage Pointe policy and procedures.

While every day working with our staff and residents will look different, you will be managing the day to day in the Healthcare; assessing, observing, and reporting on the well-being of our residents; managing medical and social services concerns and emergencies; and interfacing with internal and external services, agencies, and family members to provide the best possible care to our residents.

Requirements

Possess a current L.V.N. license in the State of California.
Provide two to three years of experience as a Director/Manager of HealthCare Services/Nursing in either an Assisted Living (strongly preferred), or Skilled Nursing Community.
Minimum of 3 years working with Memory Care residents.
Can interpret RCFE regulations and physician recommendations/orders.
Pass a Live scan Background Check.

At the end of the day, we are selling care and interpersonal relationships – not just assistance with daily living services.
A competent medical professional: We need someone with experience in assessing aging adults, and that can offer sound medical guidance to our LVNs, med techs, and caregivers. We will need to teach and/or advise on the basics of pharmacology; proper body mechanics; infection control and BBP; wound care; and how to operate oxygen tanks and other medical equipment.
