From My Pointe Of View (August 2022)

On Sunday, September 11, 2022 between 1:00 – 4:00pm, Heritage Pointe will be celebrating Grandparents Day. This will be a fun-filled day with activities, nosh, and music. All Residents are encouraged to invite their families to attend – especially the grandchildren! We are so appreciative of The Isidore C. and Penny W. Myers Grandparents Day Endowment Fund and the Albert Weissman and Rhoda Yvette Weissman Arts Endowment Fund for supporting this day and for recognizing how important it is for our community seniors to be able to enjoy their families.

Participants will also be able to experience the day through art, by making a “My Heritage” family tree and learning about Jewish legacy through different art mediums and techniques.

During the day several staff will be onsite and available to tour you and your family through our soon-to-be-open Sage Living neighborhood. This all-inclusive care neighborhood is expected to open in early October and we already have a long interest list. Ask for a tour and let’s discuss if Sage is the right fit for you or your loved one.

This event coincides with the start of Assisted Living Week. Each day throughout the week Heritage Pointe will be celebrating different departments for the contributions they make to position our facility as the best in the county to live and to work! Our employees do an outstanding job and, during the week of September 11th we will have events and activities so that each employee feels appreciated.

If you have comments that you would like our employees to hear during the week, please email me at msilverman@heritagepointe.org and I will be sure to read them on the day the department is being recognized.

Thank you so much for supporting Heritage Pointe!
